In October of 2022, Asaph and Rose hosted the entire East Africa board of directors (pictured above) along with RAP co-founders Diane Havlir and Arturo Martinez for a very special dinner and program to mark the inaugural RAP East Africa Board assembly. On this trip, the board organized a tour of the Rwentanga Farm Institute, a residential institute that serves over 750 students. The new Returning a Promise recipients (see below) both attend the institute and are pictured with the Principal and Vice Principal of RFI.

Ruth Nyakato - The inaugural recipient selected by Ugandan Board of Directors in 2020. Ruth is a current student at the Rwentanga Farm Institute in the western region of Uganda.

Rita Barbiye - The seconde recipient selected by Ugandan Board of Directors, in 2022. Rita is a current student at the Rwentanga Farm Institute in the western region of Uganda.
